1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Item Forge ("the Service"), operated by TycksCon, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Item Forge is an AI-powered tool that generates magical items, equipment, and artifacts for tabletop role-playing games. The Service uses artificial intelligence to create item descriptions, statistics, lore, and artwork. The Service supports multiple game systems including D&D 5e, MÖRK BORG, Cypher System, Pathfinder 2e, and Shadowdark.

3. User Accounts

You may use the Service without an account with limited functionality. Creating an account (via Google or GitHub authentication) enables saving items, creating collections, and sharing with the community. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. User-Generated Content

Items you create using the Service are yours. You retain ownership of your custom prompts, item configurations, and any creative input you provide. By making items public, you grant other users a non-exclusive license to view, save, and share those items within the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

Item descriptions, statistics, lore, and artwork are generated by third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI DALL-E). AI-generated content may be inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate. The Service does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing it publicly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You agree not to attempt to circumvent AI safety measures or abuse the generation APIs. Excessive automated use that degrades the Service for others is prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

Game system names, rules, and mechanics referenced by the Service (D&D 5e, MÖRK BORG, Cypher System, Pathfinder 2e, Shadowdark) are the property of their respective owners. Item Forge is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

TycksCon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your public items may remain visible to other users who have saved them.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
