A tarnished silver flask etched with eyes that open and close depending on how much liquor remains inside.
Liquid Courage (Passive): While you have at least 1 charge remaining and the flask is on your person, you have advantage on saving throws against being Frightened. Flash of Genius: Once per day, if you are Poisoned and cast an illusion spell through the flask, you may add your Intelligence modifier as a bonus to the spell's save DC (maximum +5).
The flask was originally owned by Miravel Soss, a disgraced court illusionist who discovered her best work came after her third drink. The flask doesn't actually enhance magic — it strips away the wizard's inhibitions and self-doubt, channeling raw imaginative energy. A sober wizard who studies the flask for 1 hour and succeeds on a DC 18 Arcana check realizes the Blur effect granted while Poisoned originates from the drinker's own subconscious leaking into the Weave, not from the flask itself. If the flask is ever filled with water or a non-alcoholic liquid, it silently empties itself overnight. The Thieves' Guild in the nearest city will pay 6,000 gp for it — Miravel owes them a substantial debt and they believe the flask is hers to collect.
